My Uni Room | Project Type: Model | Type: Environment
Info
I'm recreating my room in blender (since March 2024) with as much detail as possible, including measuring most things within a 1 cm accuracy. I first measured the floor print of the entire room and then started to block out my desk area. As can be seen in the first photo below which was Rendered with Eevee. I then added some objects, such as a Rubik's cube, a book and monitor. By the end of the project, I aim to create every object that is seen in the real room as seen below.>>> V1.0 general block out of the area
>>> V1.1 adding details and materials
>>> V1.2 adding better lighting and curtains
What I learned
>>> How to model using accurate measurements>>> making curtains using cloth simulation in Blender
Specs:
>>> Software: Blender>>> Final Render: Cycles
>>> Tris: 90k
Potential improvements:
>>> Create bathroom, door and window>>> Optimise tri count
Process images and other renders
